Blessed Mother's Day!

The most important person on earth is a mother. She cannot claim the honor of having built Notre Dame Cathedral. She need not. She has built something more magnificent than any cathedral—a dwelling for an immortal soul, the tiny perfection of her baby's body.

The Angels have not been blessed with a such a grace. They cannot share in God's Creative miracle to bring new Saints to Heaven. Only a human mother can. Mothers are closer to God the Creator than any other creatures. God joins forces with mothers in performing this act of creation.

What on God's good earth is more glorious than this: to be a mother?

May Bonfire and Hotdog roast!

Talitha Koum will be meeting on Saturday, May 12 at 4 pm @ St. Francis of Assisi- outside of Clare Hall and then carpooling 45 minutes west of Wichita for a hotdog roast and bonfire in the country.  Bring your children, lawn chairs, a side dish to share, hotdogs and something to roast them over a fire for your crew. Ladies, I know how life can get soooo busy so here is what our meeting schedule looks like for the rest of the year:  May 12, Bonfire;  June 9, Jody's house;  July 14, Jeanmarie's house; Aug 4, Catholic Family Conference; September 8, St. Clare Hall;  October 13, St. Clare Hall;  November 10, Bonfire/ planning meeting;  December 8, St. Clare Hall.

April Meeting

Happy Easter beautiful mothers!  Our next meeting will be Saturday, April 14 in St. Clare Hall at St. Francis parish from 5-6:30. 

Dinner will be provided so please bring a side dish and your children!  Hope you can make it!

Valentine's Day Party

Good morning beautiful mothers! Our next meeting will be Saturday, February 11.  Details have been emailed out so if you would like to be on our email list please contact us!  This is our annual Valentines Party and Diana is preparing to spoil us again!  Please bring yourselves (no need to bring snacks) and your children are always welcome!  Hope you can make it!

December meeting

Just letting you know our next meeting will be Saturday, Dec. 10,  3:00 in St. Clare hall, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish. We will be finishing up planning for next year and hearing a short talk on the Blessed Mother.   Please bring a snack to share and your children are welcome!  (FYI as of right now I will be bringing my 3 boys)  Hope you can make it!
