TK Changes

Good Morning beautiful mothers!  For those of you who weren’t able to make it to our gathering Saturday or had to leave early, we are having some changes in TK.  Last Saturday was our last regularly scheduled meeting.  We will no longer be meeting every month.  We do intend to maintain our TK email and blog and if you need anything you can contact us via email.  We also plan to have about 2 gatherings a year. Diana wishes to continue the annual Valentine’s gathering and we will do something in the summer.

Please know that in your awesome task of raising children you are not alone.  Please take advantage of all assistance available to lighten you load.  That can be help from a friend, a program at the Spiritual Life Center such as Beginning Experience, seeking Spiritual Direction, professional counseling or the friendly, compassionate ear of one of us have been through this.  Spiritual Direction is often misunderstood and I would encourage everyone to seek it. Why seek direction? Do so if…
  • You are experiencing a new sense of God in your life and question where that is leading.
  • You are experiencing a distance from God, the Church, or your faith.
  • You are facing an important decision or transition in your life.
  • You simply need a companion as you continue to live your baptismal call in your vocation.
What Spiritual Direction is not: It is not emotional counseling or psychotherapy.  It is not marriage counseling, nor is it a self-help course.  All of these have their proper place, but they are not Spiritual Direction.
If anyone wishes to call an informal TK girls night out or in, feel free to do so!

May God bless each of you and your children, through the intercession of the Mediatrix of all Graces, His Mother, Mary.

Mark 5:41-43 "He took her by the hand. Then he said to her, "Talitha koum!" This means, "Little girl, I say to you, get up!" Right away she stood up and walked around. They were totally amazed at this. Jesus gave strict orders not to let anyone know what had happened. And he told them to give her something to eat."
